Two London developers stumbled upon a missing Banksy painting on one of their buildings — now it's worth £1.25 million

Banksy's "Snorting Copper" depicts a policeman snorting a line of cocaine. It appeared 10 years ago but was vandalised and painted over by the local council.

Property developers Jonathan Ellis and David Kyte stumbled upon it when they bought the disused site. They cut the entire wall out and transported the artwork to Carlisle for restoration, which lasted 16 weeks.

The painting has returned to its original home in Shoreditch and it's worth a whopping £1.25 million.

It’s protected by reinforced glass, alarms, and CCTV.
